Eric and I met in 1996 and married in 1999 (a little more than 13 years ago). Our love story is another blog entirely of it's own. Suffice it to say that God blessed us for a lifetime when we met and fell in love. From the day we were married we talked about adopting a baby. We didn't know when, or how, or why, but year after year the idea stayed with us in our hearts. After more than 8 years together we decided it was time to welcome a baby to our family. In April 2007 we found out we were pregnant and On January 4, 2008 we welcome Davis Michael to the world. Two years after Davis was born we were ready to welcome another baby to the world. After years of trying to have a baby we knew that God had a better plan.
In July of 2011 Eric and I attended an informational meeting Hope's Promise Adoption Agency in Castle Rock, CO - but we weren't sure if the time was right for us to adopt. In May of 2012 we tried to get pregnant through IVF but none of our embryos developed past day three. In July of 2012 we went to the very same same informational meeting at Hope's Promise that we had attended in July of 2011 and left the meeting with a conviction that God's plan was for us to grow our family through adoption. From that day forward God has been showing us the way.

God's Answer to Your Prayer:
1. 'Yes'
2. 'Not yet'
3. 'I have something better in mind'
Indeed, he does have something better in mind.
